It´s the Chocolate x Lesser clutch, so i´m dying

The VPI Axantic and the 100% het. Clown are both
in their PLS right now and yesterday one of our
Dinker females started ovulating.

The season....

.... is starting very good. Yesterday i found our
third clutch of this season. It´s from our Chocolate
x Yellow Belly pairing.
It isn´t the biggest clutch, it contains one good egg
and two ´boob´eggs.
Last season i also had a couple of ´boob´eggs
which were more worse than these and they came
out anyway so hopefully these do too.

Second one....

.... was found a couple of days ago and it wasn´t
from the YB female. I found 4 eggs from Cinnamon
x Cinnamon. Not a huge clutch but the eggs are
humongous.
It won´t take long before the YB female will lay her
eggs. Her PLS was on the same day as the
Cinnamon so hopefully she will lay her eggs in a
couple of days.

.... of 2011 is a fact. Today i found 5 beautiful
eggs laying underneath our Lesser Platinum
female. She is paired up with a Chocolate male
and i really can´t wait to see those little noses
pip out of the egg.

The new breeding season started off very well,
we allready witnessed some very nice pairings.
To give some examples: Chocolate x Lesser,
Chocolate x YB, Pastave x Spider and
Pastave x Pastel.
There were a lot more and they can be seen on
the Breeding page in a couple of days.
We also we´re able to get our hands on a Smokin´
Phantom male from Saskia and Theo from
Snakings.
The stud isn´t here yet but we can´t
wait to pick him up and show him to you.

Last week two beautiful Low White Pieds hatched.
The father and mother of the clutch were both
100% het. for Piebald and the clutch contained
6 eggs.

.... has been laid yesterday. The father(s) were a
Cinnamon, a Pinstripe and a Mojave and the
mother is a Normal. She laid 5 nice white eggs.
We already have a clutch of 6 eggs from the same
pairing (different female) in the incubator which
is due to hatch in about 5 days.
Clutch number 4 gave us an awesome result:

Woma. There are allready one Pastel and one

Clutch 2 and 3...

.... hatched last week. Clutch number 2 was from
a Bell Ghost male to a Dinker female and it gave
some nice results. A couple of the youngsters are
looking just like mommy so hopefully there´s
something genetic going on there.
The 3rd clutch was from a Pastel het. Clown male
to a het. Clown female and the Gods weren´t
with me on this one.
It gave us only one Pastel and three normals, all
possible het. for Clown. Next season i got more
het. Clown females so hopefully we´ll hit the odds
then.
I´ll post some pictures of them after they shed.

clutch is going to hatch from a Woma x Pastel.

The end is near...

This morning i found one of our last clutches of
this season. The clutch contains 6 nice white eggs.
One of them is a boob-egg but the boob is only
an A-cup, LOL.
The father and the mother are both normals 100%
het. Piebald so hopefully in about two months we´ll
find some nice Pieds crawling through the
incubator.

Yesterday i added 6 more eggs to the stove.
One of our gravid normal females laid a nice
clutch yesterday.
She has been locked witha Cinnamon, a Pinstripe
and a Mojave so the outcome of this clutch will
be a surprise.
The next one on the list is our 100% het. Pied
female, she had her PLS two weeks ago.
She was paired up with a 100% het. Pied male.

Another clutch....

.... was laid yesterday. I found my female Pastel
coiled around 7 nice fertilized eggs.
The father probably is our Woma Morph but there
is a small chance the Cinnamon has sired her.
In the beginning of the breeding season the i
witnessed 2 succesfull pairings with the
Cinnamon but after that the Woma ´grabbed´ her
7 times.
In about two weeks we expect the next clutch so
stay tuned....

100% het. Clown female coiled around 4 nice and
white eggs. She is paired up with a Pastel het. Clown

First clutch of the year....

.... is hatching as we speak. A couple of days ago
is cut the eggs on the 54th day and today, on day
59, they are starting to crawl out of the egg.
The mother was a beautiful Spider and the father
could be a Lemon Pastel or a Pinstripe.
It looks like the Pinstripe got the lucky shot
because i count 4 Spiders, 1 Spinner and a
Pinstripe.
No normals in this clutch so the Morphgods were
with me on this one. I´ll post pictures of them as
soon as they´re out of the egg.

We went to the Houten Show...

.... and ofcourse we couldn´t come home empty-
handed. We brought back home a beautiful
Chocolate poss. het. Ghost male and we reserved
a beautiful Pastave male from Ballpythons.nl.

We also still have a beautiful Bell Ghost proven
breeder male for sale. Take a look at him at our

Last but not least i´m very happy to say that in
a couple of days our first clutch will hatch.
They´re baking in the stove for 54 days right now.
The mother is a stunning Spider and the father is
either a Pinstripe or a Lemon Pastel.

Early clutch....

This morning when i was checking up the females
i found our Spider female on an egg and she
almost jumped out of her enclosure. She was
pretty agressive. When i came home this evening
i found her coiled up on a real nice clutch.
The clutch contains six good eggs and one ´Boob´
egg. I´ve witnessed pairings of this female with
both the Lemon Pastel and the Pinstripe so
within 60 days hopefully some nice critters are
crawling out of the eggs. I´ll post pictures of the
clutch and the female later on in the
Breeding
section.

Snake Day Houten....

... was a great day for us. We delivered our last
offspring of this season and offcourse we couldn´t
come home empty-handed.
We brought home a real nice Bell Pastel 100% het.
Bell Ghost female, a 100% het. Bell Ghost male
and a very light colored 100% het. VPI Axantic
male. Pictures will follow in he next weeks.
Last saturday i decided to put our male Bell Pastel
100% het. Clown with one our het. Clown females
and it was obviously the right decision because
within ten minutes they were copulating.
So hopefully next season will bring us some nice
Clowns and Pastel Clowns....

First pairings are a fact

Last sunday we introduced some of our breeder
males to their females.
Last year we also started breeding in oktober
and everything went very well last year so we
decided to hold on to the same schedule.
Yesterday morning i was doing my daily checkup
and witnessed some pairings. Our Cinnamon
male was giving it a shot with our Pastel female
and also our Bell Ghost was humpin´ around.
Last but not least our Woma male was getting
very intimate with a nice normal ´Blackback´
female.
This female gave us some real nice ´Blackback´
Pastels last season so let´s see what this year
will bring us.

Next breeding season is....

.... almost beginning. At the end of this month
we´ll lower our thermostats and within 5 weeks
the first males are introduced to their females.
We have some real nice males and females ready
to mate and if everything goes according to plan,
hopefully we´ll hatch out some real nice morphs
next year. We also hope to produce our first
combo-morph here at Rocking Royals.
We´re aiming at Bumblebees, Pewters, Spinners,
Lemon Blasts, Woma Pastels etc. etc.

Last week our final clutch for this year hatched.
The father was a stunning Enchi male and the
mother was a nice normal. It was a clutch of 5
eggs so i expected two, maybe three, Enchi´s.
Well, there were five Enchi´s and no normals
in the clutch.
That´s what i call great odds!!!

when we came home, one of our females has

had her Pre Lay Shed 30 days ago so it can´t
take much longer. After the last update two other

Today one of our normal females had her Pre Lay
Shed so within 30 days the first

We also had another ovulation yesterday from a

stunning male Hypo Tangerine Leopardgecko for
sale. It´s our last gecko, after he´s gone we are

Finally we witnessed our first ovulation yesterday.
The last couple of days one
of our normal females
kept growing bigger at the mid-section of her body.

checked her twice every day and yesterday we

New section on the website

Well, almost all of the females from which i witnessed
pairings are ´glowing´
right now so probably the first
ovulations show up in a couple of weeks. Time
for us
to make a new section on the website about the
Birthing Records. There´s not much to see
right now
but when the first clutches arrive i will add the
information and
pictures of the mom and dad and
offcourse of the offspring when they are born.

Moved into our new home

Finally we are all settled in our new home. All snakes
are brought in and
everything is back to normal. After
a couple of weeks without an
internet-connection i´m
glad to be back on the World Wide Web. Also the
breeding
season is going on very well, I witnessed lots
of breedings and some of the
females are already
Glowing so hopefully we have some ovulations soon.
We also
have some Leopardgecko´s for sale, you can
see them
here. Now it´s time to go feed my
snakes.

Busy Month

Last month was a busy month for us, we had to set up
all
our new acquisitions and make the adults ready to
breed. It also was a months
full of shows and expo´s
and we acquired quitte a lot new animals like
100% het.
Clowns, African Yellow Bellies, Axantics,
and Pinstripes. You can see pictures
of them right
here.
Also our BHB Cinnamon male started our breeding
season by pleasuring a normal
female. Right after that
the Enchi male from
http://www.dragonpalace.nl, who´s
here for a
breedingloan, also began to mate with one of
our normal females. A very nice
start of the breeding
season for us. Here are some pictures of the pairings:

After a couple of weeks hard working, designing, lots
of talking and making tons
of photographs we finally
did it. We are online!!!
We especially would like to thank our website-builder
Robbert Kok. Without
him and his ideas we never
would have come this far.

Ball Python Morphs.
In about a month or so the Breeding season will begin
and we hope some fine
babies will be born. Take a look
