Genetics: simple recessive color mutation

Axantic is a recessive colormutation which causes
 complete lack of yellow pigment. The result is a
stunning black and grey Ball Python. There are
different lines of Axantics, the Joliff line, the
Snakekeeper line and the VPI line. The Joliff and
the VPI lines are compatible and they turn out
almost silver. The Snakekeeper line is known to
turn brown when aging. Our Axantics are from the
VPI line.
